Amarcort Film Festival 12th edition is open to all filmmakers presenting digital short movies.

The deadline for all sections is June, 29th, 2019 and January, 31st, 2020 for Fellini 100's competition.

Festival sections:

  1. "video movie FELLINI 100": the short film must reflect this theme: “Fellini 100, the movie I would’ve shot”. The author is called upon imagining a movie that Fellini would’ve shoot to celebrate his own centennial, whose maximum running time is 90 sec.
  2. "Amarcort": international fiction and documentary short films, whose maximum running time is 30 min;
  3. "Gradisca": international all genres short films, whose maximum running time is 5 min;
  4. "Fulgor": only for local authors' international all genres short films, whose maximum running time is 20 min.
  5. "Rex": international animated short films, whose maximum running time is 15 min;
  6. "Aldina": international all genres short films, by students film school, whose maximum running time is 15 min;
  7. "Gironzalon": international experimental short films, whose maximum running time is 10 min;
  8. "Cantarel": international musical videoclip, whose maximum running time is 5 min;

Participation fee is € 6,00 for each author.
More movies submitted by the same author in all section will be accepted at the cost of a unique fee.

  • AMARCORT
    • "Grand Jury" award – best fiction short film (500 € and Prize);
    • "Youth Jury" award - best fiction short film (Prize);
    • "Popular Jury" award - people's choice award (Prize);
    • "Fellini" mention – Amarcort section (Prize);
    • "Il Pataca" award – best acting (Prize);
  • REX
    • "Grand Jury" award – best animation short film (300 € and Prize);
  • GRADISCA
    • "Audience award (Prize);
  • ALDINA
    • "Grand Jury" award - best fiction students short film (300 € and Prize);
  • GIRONZALON
    • "Grand Jury" award - best experimental short film (Prize);
  • CANTAREL
    • "Grand Jury" award - best musical videoclip (Prize);
  • FELLINI 100 video movie
    • Achievement Award - best video (500€ and Prize);

To participate with short movies at the contest must complete the short movies registration form.

Authors can also submit their movies using some online platforms, such as FilmFreeway, Festhome or Click for festivals; in this case authors will have to register only on the chosen platform and won't need to make a further registration on Amarcort website.
